This project involves the structural assembly of residential floor deck framing situated over a foundation excavation. Initially, rows of dimensional lumber joists were installed to establish the primary load-bearing platform. Consequently, a carpenter on-site was tasked with measuring and cutting additional support members using a circular saw to fit specific sections of the build. Finally, large sheets of OSB subflooring were laid and fastened over the completed joist network to create the walkable surface.
